Did we say that the car was completely overhauled? Found major leaks, rushing it back to mechanic, will be out just it time for tomorrow night, when she (as we decided it's a SHE) will be the guest of honor at our last fund-raising event.
Finally sorted all the visas, excpet for Turkmenistan, for which , it seems, we can apply in advance and obtain it at the border as 5-days transit.

It took five months to get the car checked and overhauled – but it was well worth it!

New engine, new suspensions, new oversize radiator – the list of modifications is endless, but the result is one – nothig short of perfection, a guarantee for a smooth drive to UB. Got it at 11 pm, so no time for pictures...

And while the whole country was mesmerized by a much-deserved, much-awaited EuroCup victory over France, Loris was endlessly toiling over the last few final mechanical problems. So tomorrow is the big day, first test-drive of the R4! Watch this place for a full review with pictures.
